A message from our Senior Accountant Katie Kordash:

Shannon’s last day with NWHF will be July 31st. It seems like just yesterday that we welcomed her with open arms to Northwest Health Foundation. She stepped into her role as Grants Administrator with ease and confidence, embodying the values of our organization. We were so lucky to have her at the Foundation for seven years. She made a deep impression not only on staff, but on our grantees and other partners too.

Shannon streamlined our grantmaking system through the customization of our database while effortlessly maintaining the flow and integrity of our processes. She has formed deep and lasting relationships with our grantees across Oregon and SW Washington, gracing them with her patience, humor and sincerity.

Nature, gardening, wine, musicals, Harry Potter, traveling… these are just a few of the interests and hobbies Shannon has shared with us. We’ve also benefited from her knowledge of libations and skill at creating delicious charcuterie boards, not to mention cooking prowess. Shannon introduced us to ube, cassava cake and other mouth-watering Filipino dishes.

Shannon will be deeply missed at NWHF! We wish her the best as she begins her new adventure as a grants manager at Group Health Foundation.
